On Wednesday morning, 12/20/2023, the Marine Sciences Center at the University of Basra hosted the members of the University of Basra Council to hold its fifth open session at Harir Station in Al-Mashab, in the presence of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and the assistant professors of the University President, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Shaker Ghaleb Ajeel, General Director of the Center. Marine Sciences, deans of colleges and directors of centers affiliated with the university
The meeting addressed several topics
The University President praised the efforts of the management of the Marine Science Center in organizing and hosting the University Council meeting and wished the management of the Center further giving and progress in serving the university.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a number of distinguished professors at the center were honored and certificates of appreciation were distributed to them for their efforts
