Dr. Amal Ghazi Yasser, a lecturer at the Marine Science Center at the University of Basra, was chosen as a permanent scientific evaluator for Diversity magazine, published by the Swiss Publishing House (MDPI), which has an impact factor of 2.4 within the Scopus Q1 classification.

The magazine is concerned with publishing research and studies related to biodiversity, including molecules, genes, population groups, species, and ecosystems.
