The two teaching staff member at the Center for Marine Science at the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Falah Marouf Mutlaq and Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul-Hussein Jaafar Abdullah, participated in the membership of the discussion committee for postgraduate / doctoral student Fadia Khaled Radi in the College of Agriculture / Department of Fisheries and Marine Resources / University of Basrah on her thesis entitled ((Fish composition,  Nutritional relationships and their impact on the dominance and territoriality of tilapia fish in two different environments in the city of Basrah.
