The University of Basra is the first for Iraqi universities to apply the electronic payment system within the university and for all transactions, starting from 1/6/2023, where all students and associates will be equipped with prepaid cards, and all transactions will be done electronically, in implementation of the Prime Minister’s directive on electronic governance
