Within the mechanism of scientific cooperation with state institutions, a joint scientific team was formed, including Prof. Dr. Malik Hassan Ali, Prof. Dr. Huda Kazem Ahmed, and Mr. Hana Hussein from the Marine Science Center - Basra University, and associates from the General Company for Iraqi Ports, to conduct a study of a development project.
Coral reefs in the Iraqi marine waters presented by the Coral team at the center, and in light of that, meetings were held for the purpose of discussing the preparation of work steps and project requirements to complete this important vital project at the local, regional and global levels.
