Within the continuing education program at the Marine Sciences Center, Assistant Lecturer Mazen Abdel-Hussein Badan, a lecturer in the Department of Marine Environmental Chemistry, gave a lecture on renewable energy and its impact
 The lecture dealt with the importance of renewable energies and the reasons for caring for them as an alternative to fossil fuels, and their contribution to reducing pollution and global warming.
 As well as renewable energy sources and how to benefit from them and convert them into implementable applications, in addition to dealing with ways to store energy and benefit from it when energy sources are absent or few.
