The lecturer at the Marine Science Center at the University of Basrah, Dr. Ahmad Yousef Hammoud, obtained a patent for an innovative method for producing new nano-frite particles by using lemon extract and using it as an adsorbent surface to remove pollution with petroleum hydrocarbons from their aqueous solutions.
