Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Nuri Abdel Nabi Nasser, Director General of the Marine Science Center, the Culture and Society Committee at the Center at the University of Basra held a cultural symposium on the occasion of the martyrdom of the Lady of the Women of the Worlds Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon her, at the Al-Mahri hall. The symposium began with a scented recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a lecture by Dr. Kawakeb Al-Suwaij. After that, certificates of appreciation were presented to the participants in the symposium.
