A scientific research team from the Marine Science Center made a field trip to the great port of Faw
Prof. Dr. Malik Hassan headed the scientific team, which included professors and specialists from the Department of Marine Biology. The team was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Nuri Abdel Nabi Nasser, Director General of the Center. The team collected various samples related to the port from the eastern side of the breakwater and other samples of neighborhoods attached to rocks and others
The Director General of the Ports Company, Dr. Eng. Farhan Al-Fartousi, said that the ports of Iraq are fully prepared to cooperate with everyone in order to develop work in the port sector and what we are witnessing of visits and scientific delegations. It is a clear evidence of the importance of the port and its effective role in achieving the highest revenues for the country upon its completion
At the end of the visit, the scientific team extended its thanks and gratitude to the company's management and the port's owners for the hospitality and reception.
