A research team of Marine Sedimentology Department teachers made a field visit to the Shatt al-Basra Regulatory Project and identified environmental problems.

 

Within the series of scientific activities carried out by our center and with the direct support and guidance of the center’s management, the respected Prof. Dr. Shaker Ghaleb Ajeel, a research team of teachers from the Department of Marine Sedimentology made a field visit to the Basra Shatt Nazim project and identified the environmental problems that need to be addressed. The project director expressed his desire to The Shatt al-Basra Department, affiliated with the General Estuary Authority, cooperates with researchers in the fields of applied research for environmental problems that need to be addressed. The Director of the Shatt al-Basra Project also expressed his desire to receive research consultations from the university for the purpose of submitting them to the Ministry. The scientific team has identified the most important environmental problems currently in the Shatt al-Basra Regulator.
