 A Scientific research at the University of Basrah published by Dr. Ahmed Jaseb Al-Shammari, a teacher at the Marine Science Center, and Dr. Mujtaba Abdel-Wahab Taher, a teaching staff member at the College of Agriculture, the paper was published in the Annals of R.S.C.B journal, which is classified within the Scopus containers Q3.
 The presence and reclassification of Torpedo panthera in Iraqi marine waters
 Two models of Torpedo panthera were caught, and 17 phenotypic traits were measured during the study, and it was noted that some of these traits were related to temperature and salinity concentration.
