The President of Basrah University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, met with the Director-General of the Marine Science Center, Prof. Dr. Nuri Abdul-Nabi Nasser, in the presence of the General Director of the General Company for Iraqi Ports and the Director-General of Maritime Transport to discuss ways of cooperation between the two parties through the Marine Science Center. They discussed the mechanisms of operating the Naseem al-Basra yacht and maintaining it, in addition to discussing the salinity of the Shatt al-Arab topic. Dr. Nuri mentioned the readiness of the scientific team at the Marine Science Center in conducting and implementing all environmental studies in the large port of Faw to serve Basra and beloved Iraq
