A virtual scientific meeting took place between three universities (Basrah, Thi Qar, and Tarbiat Modares), the meeting sponsored by the Cultural Attaché in Tehran. The discussion focused on agriculture, marine sciences, and marshes. Prof. Nouri Abdel Nabi Nasser - Director-General of the Marine Sciences Center, attended the meeting, and welcomed the participants. He presented the scientific role of the center at the local and global levels.

There was a desire to develop work and collaboration between the universities to exchange experiences, joint research, training, joint supervision of postgraduate students, and other matters that support the institution’s work strategy. Participants emphasized the necessity of communication between the attendees to serve the development of their institutions.
