The Head of the Marine Physics Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Bassal Mahmood, Member of the Board of Directors of the UNESCO West Asian Center for Oceanography, participated in the regional  workshop - webinar on age depth modeling of marine and lacustrine sediments using Clam  and Bchron packages in R statstical software   organized by the UNESCO  Category II Regional Center for Education and Research on Oceanography for Western Asia (UNESCO / RCOWA) on January  4, 2021 in cooperation between the University of Marseille - France And the Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences in Tehran .
