Day of Ghadir
In which the will of the Seal of the Prophets was revealed, an event that charted an enlightening path for the Islamic nation in Ghadir Khumm, and to celebrate this occasion, the Marine Sciences Center held a joyful celebration of this fragrant occasion.
Today, Monday, the Marine Sciences Center held a special celebration on the occasion of Eid al-Ghadeer al-Aghar. The party was held by the Center’s Culture and Society Committee. The ceremony was attended by a number of professors and employees, in addition to a number of distinguished guests. The blessed ceremony included many segments, which began with a reading of the Holy Qur’an, followed by a lecture given by Dr. Ihsan Al-Jazairi in which he reviewed the multiple meanings of this blessed day. Then Al-Husseini leader Mullah Mustafa Al-Simari took the stage and sang some songs and chants for the blessed occasion. The ceremony concluded with a competition in which many of the center’s employees and guests participated. A number of prizes were distributed to the winners.
