The Culture and Society Committee at the Marine Sciences Center at the University of Basra held a symposium on (the character of Lady Fatima bint Hizam (Mother of Boys) and her religious and moral impact on society)
With the participation of Dr. Jawad Al-Nasr Allah, the Islamic researcher, the preacher Aqeel Al-Abadi, and the Qur’an reader Tahseen Al-Simari, the doctor touched on the character of Umm Al-Banin, peace be upon her, her lineage, her upbringing of her firstborn, her lofty morals, her role in the Husseinah cause and its impact. The Sheikh also explained to us the blessings of Umm Al-Banin and how she took the door of Al-Hussein as an example and an entrance. For her immortality and that of her children until today, society should emulate this venerable lady who continued to serve the House of Prophethood with sincerity and raise her children to love their Imam and obey him, which includes obedience to God Almighty.
