The Marine Sciences Center at the University of Basra organized an awareness seminar on early detection of breast cancer.

The symposium, which was lectured by the Director of the Breast Cancer Early Detection Division at the Basra Health Department, Dr. Zainab Kamel Dhahi, aimed to provide a service to the community through awareness and education about the necessity of early screening before the disease spreads.

The symposium discussed the signs of infection with the disease, how it spreads, the testing locations available in the governorate, as well as the treatment methods used.
