The Director General of the Marine Science Center, Prof. Dr. Nuri Abdel Nabi Nasser, participated in the workshop held at the Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies / National Security Advisory by presenting a lecture entitled (Climate Changes in Iraq / Its Effects - Adaptation - Mitigation - Solutions).
 During the lucture, emphasis was placed on the challenges and effects of climate changes facing Iraq in general and Basrah in particular, and ways of adaptation and mitigation, and recommendations in this regard to maintain food security and avoid and reduce social, economic and political tension as a result of these changes.
