A joint scientific team headed by Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen, Dr. Walid Al-Moussawi, Director General of the Department of Environmental Protection and Improvement in the Southern Region, and Prof. Dr. Nuri Abdel-Nabi Nasser, Director General of the Marine Science Center, visited the Al-Nashwa area, where they met with the director of the district and the citizens to learn about the most important problems that the region suffers from, especially  Air, water and soil pollution.  Al-Bahar Center researchers collected samples and brought them to the center for examination
