 The Marine Science Center at the University of Basra organized a scientific workshop on the organization and numbering of laboratory documents

 The workshop, which was attended by Omar Abdul-Amir Kahtan, the quality official in the teaching center, and Dr. Bassam Ashoor Rasheed, a member of the Quality Committee and the laboratory official manager the need to prepare documents for the laboratory for the purpose of organizing administrative work and assisting laboratory officials in preparing a follow-up system for all the laboratory assets, including devices and equipment.  Chemicals and materials, in addition to following up the calibration of the devices, as each quality document will be managed in the laboratory through a document control system.
 The workshop recommended that in order to properly manage documents, they must be provided with metadata that can be used to identify the document, the version, the author, those responsible for preparing it, and the places where copies of these documents are located.
