 The Director-General of the Marine Science Center, Prof. Dr. Nuri Abdul-Nabi Nasser, recepted the guids of the departments of the Agriculture Department of Basrah, Dr. Abdul-Adhim Kazem Abdul-Karim the guid of the Department of Palm, Mr. Shaker Abdul-Razzaq guid of the Department of fish, Mr. Abdul-Jabbar Nasir, guid of the Department of Protrction , and Mr. Aqil Kate'a Shaltagh the guid of the Department of the Animal Production, for the purpose of making benefit  from  Research and applied projects in the center. The meeting reached good results by identifying aspects of cooperation in the implementation of applied research, the most important are breeding and propegation of fish as well as mangrove transplantation. As implementation for the purpose of developing the agricultural sector in Governorate of Basrah.
