The Marine Sciences Center / University of Basra held its annual  conference today, Tuesday 16/11/2021
Under the patronage of the President of Basra University, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi
Under the supervision of the Director General of the Marine Science Center, Prof. Dr. Nuri Abdel Nabi Nasser, and in the presence of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, the Dean of the College of Science, the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, the Syndicate of Agricultural Engineers, the Associate Dean and heads of branches in the College of Pharmacy, as well as the head of the Department of Fish and Marine Resources and some of the department’s employees In the College of Agriculture and Head of the Natural Marine Sciences Department at the College of Marine Sciences, the Center organized its evaluation conference for its achievements during the year 2021.
Where the conference was opened after a blessed recitation of the verses of the Holy Quran was read and the national anthem was played with a pause of honor for the martyrs of Iraq
In a speech by the Director-General of the Center, he touched on the objectives of the conference and the future outlook for the Marine Science Center and its role in supporting and developing the scientific and practical process, as it is one of the most important milestones in giving, excellence and advancement. The conference also dealt with a review of the most important achievements of the scientific departments, which were presented by the heads of the scientific departments. It included the scientific research achievements of each department and the number of research published in reputable journals, Scopus, and local journals.
