Marine Science Center announcements/

A scientific team in the Marine Vertebrate Department of the Marine Sciences Center at the University of Basra made a field trip to the Al-Jbayish marshes. The team was headed by Dr. Amer Abdullah Najm, with Dr. Kazem Hassan Younis, Dr. Ghassan Adnan, Dr. Muhammad Faris and  lecturer assistant  Ali Wafiq, in order to find out the environmental reality and biodiversity and follow up on the most important changes The area after the fluctuation in the quality and quantity of the water entering the marshes, in addition to identifying the most important types of fish present and their daily marketed quantities, as well as a meeting with some of the fishermen present in the area.
